Until I found out it is illegal to use Stainless steel in the Gulf of MexicoGood jobThese are not stainless and first fish we had on straightened a hook.. very disappointedDo not use for tarpon. I hooked into a large tarpon...maybe 120 pounder. Straightened out the hook and broke it off right below the barb. Very disappointing. Back to Owners or Mustad. Buying online is a gamble on some products. You don't get that many opportunities with tarpon. This was a lost one because of cheap hooks. It said tuna hook. Thought that meant strong!!!!!!These are not 9/0 hooks.I ordered the 9/0 hooks and received what the package said was 9/0 but they were the size of a maybe 1/0 hook. I will not but again.
